Rate $100 p/h

We take a down payment of $100 to confirm your job and the final payment on completion of the job.

Ship your parts to us, or if local (Gold Coast/Tweed Heads) we can arrange for you to drop them off.

Here are some typical examples:

  • Brake Calipers, master cylinders and triple clamps = approx 0.5-1hr ea piece
  • Complete mx engine including crankcase, side covers, heads, cylinders= approx 4hrs

The actual time required depends on the size and condition of the piece.

If parts require disassembly, cleaning, or degreasing, this is done at the hourly rate.

The cleaner the part is when I receive it, the less prep time and savings for you.

If you have the parts completely cleaned and degreased with any silicone sealers, gaskets, bearings, paint or clear coat removed, this will to help get the job started straight away and save you some money. We recommend a clean with a heavy-duty degreaser, a good scrub and a pressure wash to get as much of the gunk and build-up off as possible.

I am equipped to do most jobs but will let you know if anything is a problem before commencing.

  5. Rinse thoroughly and blast dry with compressed air. All parts are coated with anti corrosion inhibitor. We use INOX.

Types of Materials

Vapor blasting does an awesome job restoring – cylinder heads, carby’s, crank cases, wheel hubs, barrels, exhausts, master cylinders, calipers, rotors, pretty much anything that’s metal but is also effective on aluminum, copper, lead, nickel, tin, titanium, zinc, some plastics, rubbers, brass and other non-ferrous metals and alloys.

Vapor blasting works by using an abrasive glass bead in a water solution that is accelerated by compressed air and produces a very uniform soft closed surface finish that is clean and degreased.
