Safe Edge QLD YZ125 – Full Custom Rebuild
Beyond stoked with how this one came out. When Kingsley Woods reached out wanting a true showpiece for his new shop, Safe Edge QLD, the goal was clear — build something that would stop people in their tracks. I’m proud to say we delivered, right down to the fully custom painted front end and the smallest detail throughout the bike.
Starting with a 2006 YZ125, this build was a complete ground-up transformation. The motor was fully rebuilt by JPM MX Development and features polished internals, Ross McWaters barrel and carby modifications, a Phathead cylinder head, and stock ignition for reliability. Power is delivered through a Pro Circuit Works PC pipe paired with a carbon muffler, giving it both the look and the sound to match its performance.
Every detail of this bike was carefully selected — from the Hinson Racing components, Renthal controls, and Hoosier Tires Australia rubber, to the custom seat by Strike Seats and finishing touches by Axiom MotoX. This is a true showcase build in every sense of the word.
To finish it off properly, we wrapped the project with a professional photoshoot at the one and only Gold Coast Studio with Matty Mac, capturing the bike exactly how it deserves to be seen. A full build video will be dropping soon over on YouTube, so keep an eye out for that.
